Publication Costs

Understanding the costs associated with publishing in an academic journal is important. At the Cameroon Journal of Law, Politics, and Human Rights, we are committed to transparency in our publication process. Below is a breakdown of the various costs involved.

To cover the expenses associated with delivering a quality publishing service and ensuring open access for readers, authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication in the journal are required to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC). There are no surcharges, regardless of the article's length, inclusion of figures, or supplementary data.

Article Processing Charges

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for all accepted articles and Opinion Pieces is 25,000 FCFA or $45 (USD) and 5000 FCFA for Blogs or $10 (USD). This fee covers peer review, professional editing and typesetting, immediate open access publication, indexing in major databases, and long-term digital archiving. No charges for Blog submissions.

What the APC Covers

The APC covers a comprehensive range of services to ensure high-quality publication and broad dissemination of your work. These include:

  1. Editorial and Peer Review Services: Each submission undergoes a rigorous peer review process by experts in the field, ensuring the highest academic standards. Editorial support is also provided to guide authors through the publication process.
  2. Online Hosting, Maintenance, and Archiving: Published articles are hosted on the journal’s platform, maintained for long-term accessibility, and archived to ensure permanent availability.
  3. Indexing in Academic Databases: Articles are indexed in major academic databases such as Google Scholar, Crossref, ResearchGate, and others, to enhance their visibility and discoverability.
  4. Marketing and Promotion: The journal actively promotes published articles through various channels to increase their reach and impact within the research community.

Refund Policy

Please note that refunds are not provided once the manuscript has been accepted to be published. Authors are encouraged to ensure their submissions meet the journal’s guidelines and standards before proceeding with the submission process.
